THE INSIDER

Good news first: You'll all be glad to know that the new, improved Tripod Help System is up and running this week! After collecting tons of member questions and writing (and rewriting) all of the corresponding answers and tips, we're confident you'll find the solutions to all of your questions! Whatever you're looking for, we've got it covered, from how to use your cgi-bin to where you can find the best deal on organic bananas. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. And remember, using Tripod Help! is not a sign of weakness.

This week, there's a new experiment brewing in the Tripod Test Lab. We're wondering about e-mail: What do you think about free Web-based e-mail accounts and e-mail forwarding? Do you have more than one e-mail account? Help us help you (how Jerry Maguire of us) by taking our quick survey and poll. Tell us what you want from your e-mail service — we're all ears!

Living in Williamstown, MA, there aren't many opportunities to don tuxes and cocktail dresses, so naturally we jump at the chance. This weekend, Images Cinema is having its first annual benefit gala in honor of the Oscars! This elegant affair will include the imbibing of fine wine and beer, as well as star gazing and schmoozing with other film buffs. All proceeds will benefit Images Cinema, our local nonprofit art cinema. Join us if you can!

Last but most definitely not least, we say goodbye to Jaime Kalisz, one of our Member Development specialists. We wish her luck, and hope she visits often. I think she'll be around here quite a bit — her husband, John, works here!
