This Monday, a bunch of Tripodians making the move boarded a bus (at
7:00 a.m. no less!) that took them on a whirlwind tour of the Boston
and Waltham area. Becoming familiar with an area is the first step
toward being happy there. Lots of people were excited about the urban
feel of Waltham and surrounding towns. There were more than three
restaurants to choose from. You could get a cup of coffee after 6:00 p.m.
Crazy. The true joys of city living!
The Tripod troupe also dropped in on the Waltham office. There, they
were wowed by the exquisite office furniture and fixtures — we're
talking a marble counter in the ladies' room, folks! Not that we don't
love our third floor of the factory, but a little luxury never hurt
anyone! The best part of the offices for more than a few people was
the 24-hour, state-of-the-art fitness center. No more dragging ourselves
to the nasty, smelly, teenager-infested Williams College gym. Ahhhh ...
And last, but not least, we wanted to give you all a heads up on what's
happening in the BUILD area of the Tripod site. Come May, you'll see a
brand-new product: The Tripod Site Builder, powered by Trellix. It's
going to be amazing. There will be more news as the launch date gets closer;
I just wanted to whet your site-building appetites!
