Okay, so I admit it: I'm not the only cool person named Anna. Actually,
Anna Kournikova most definitely has me beat on the court and in the
popularity department. Anyway, Anna Kournikova, besides being "the
number ONE most searched athlete (above Michael Jordan) on Lycos,"
is hosting a chat this Friday on Lycos. (You won't be seeing me doing
that either.) Friday night, July 21, at 7:00 p.m. EST talk to the
Russian tennis sensation and ask her anything you want!
If you've ever read the Insider before, you know who Lisa is -- membership
specialist, married to Steve Clark, and most importantly, baker
extraordinaire. Every couple of days -- at least once a week -- Lisa
cooks up a storm and brings in the delicious fruits (or cookies) of her
labor. This was just perfect when I was in the Williamstown office and
she was here, too. Now that she's moved to the Waltham office, and I'm
still holding up the fort here in Billsville, it's not so perfect. All
Tripod employees are still on the same mailing lists, so we get mail
from Waltham here, and they get the mail we send around from
Williamstown. So, we've been hearing about pound cake and banana bread
in the cafe ... only it's not our cafe! Makes me want to move to Waltham,
and quick!
The majority of the Williamstown crew has been in Waltham for a whole week
now -- without any problems! People have started decorating the space,
and really making it theirs. I've heard from my sources that the first
things to be assembled in the new offices were the ping-pong and pool
tables. Even before the servers. But don't worry -- those got hooked up
soon after!
