I've had another brush with stardom! If only celebrities knew how
much material I get out of their inconsequential visits to little ol'
Williamstown! Last weekend, one of my favorite actors was at the
Side Bar (the other bar in town) -- Ally Sheedy. She's my hero. Loved
her in St. Elmo's Fire. Loved her in The Breakfast Club. Loved her in
High Art. I didn't find the guts to say anything -- what would I say?
I do have something to say to Dave Reid, though! Congratulations! He
and his wife Rebecca were married this past weekend in N.J. Several
Tripodians, past and present, made the trip down to celebrate with him.
Heather, Michelle, Don and Susan, Margaret and David, and Don and Deb
enjoyed the festivities all weekend. Heather reports that Rebecca
looked gorgeous -- I expected nothing else -- and that the ballroom
dancing lessons Dave took really paid off! The ceremony was short and
very sweet (the best kind!), and guests were pampered all night long.
Again, congratulations to Dave and Rebecca -- I wish you happiness
in your new life together!
