There is justice in this world! I'm going on vacation! I'm heading up
to Maine -- well, actually, I am IN Maine as you read this -- for a
whole week. Who can resist the blueberry beer (Seadog, very tasty),
lobster and corn dinners, rocky coasts that seem to go on forever,
and the quiet that comes when the tourists get lost trying to find
town. Ahhh ... Maine. I'll be there all this week, not reachable by
e-mail, thinking of you all as you type away, building and coding!
(I'm telling you this to shirk all responsibility for typos or grammatical
mistakes in this newsletter -- my boss Peter majored in English and
swears there'll be NO errors in this Insider. But, if there are, you
know who to blame!)
Now something really cool: Perl. Yeah, the coding language. We just
published a Handcrafted (our builders' newsletter) that introduces
readers to regular expressions -- one of the most powerful and fun
tools provided by Perl. If you think you're ready to move on to the
next level in site building and maintenance, this tutorial is for you.
