The mood is festive high atop Tripod Central. Baseball season is well
underway and our beloved/cursed Red Sox are battling for first place.
Each spring, the local nine look unbeatable. Each fall, glory slips
through our fingers . . . or rolls between the first baseman's legs.
But this year we predict our high-priced heroes will win it all.
Against the Cubs, no less. This cataclysmic event will cause the
universe to fold in on itself. But it will be worth it.
At this point, I usually like to recommend amazing Tripod sites
related to the rant du jour. But alas, Sox sites are in short supply.
And to make matters worse, one of the better baseball sites is
dedicated to our rivals, the New York Yankees! This is simply wrong.
Red Sox nation unite! If you build it, they will win.

Q: Can I change my membername?
A: Technically, no. Your member name is stored in several places on
our servers. That makes changing the name pretty much impossible.
If you really want a new member name, you'll need to delete your
current member name and sign up with Tripod again. It's just one
more reason to choose your member name with care!
