Tripod has completed the first leg of the holiday marathon: the 4-day
Thanksgiving Day weekend. It was a blur of food that only appears once
a year. Canned cranberry loaf. Tiny onions cultivated on a distant star.

you think you need them or not). But now that we're back, and time is

Q: Can I privatize my site?
Sure, the Web doesn't have to be worldwide. You can create a
guestlist and use your site to share photos with friends, plan your
next family reunion, and other private purposes. Here's how:
Step 1: Select the Privatize tab within Filemanager.
Step 2: Pick the site you want to privatize and click the
Make Private button.
Step 3: Click the Create a New List button and enter a guestlist name.
Step 4: Add the Tripod usernames of everyone you want to invite to your
site. (Everyone on your guestlist must have an active Tripod account.)
Step 5: Finish by assigning the newly created access list to your site.
To add or delete names, select the Privatization Features button.
To make your site public again, click the Make Public button.
