Figure Skating
Déjà vu: We have a new Tripod dad! (No, you're not going crazy from
the holiday stress; this is an all-new edition of The Insider. It just seems
like the same news.) Yes, we have another dad around the office. QA
Intern Extraordinaire Derrick Kittler and his wife Brittany had a 7 lb., 7 oz.
baby boy last weekend. Colby Robert Kittler arrived a little ahead of
schedule, but he's in good health. Congratulations from everyone at
Tripod!
In addition to the new dad, we also have some newly fallen snow —
finally! It's been darn chilly here in Billsville. I don't think the mercury's
risen above 20 degrees all week. Everyone's adjusting to the cold by
pulling out the down, polar fleece, and ear muffs. The ground is finally
frozen through. And my Halloween pumpkin is looking pretty tired. Guess
it's time to retire it to the compost pile and bring up the holiday lights
from the cellar.
Speaking of holiday lights, there are some pretty crazy lighting
arrangements in and around town. There are some truly extravagant
displays by the folks in neighboring North Adams. December just
wouldn't be the same around here without them, that's for sure!
