When you joined Tripod, we reserved a web address for you. Your web address is based on your member name (example: http://membername.tripod.com). If your account includes a domain name, you can set it up to point to your web address in the "My Account" area. We also created a "Coming Soon" page for your site. But we didn't build your pages. We leave the fun part up to you!
Ready to begin? All our great features can be accessed from the menu bar at the top of your screen:
Tripod offers a variety of web building tools designed to meet your needs whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or expert level builder. All the tools can be reached from the Tripod homepage or the "Build & Edit" menu.
NEWBIES: Want to get a personal website up and running quickly? We recommend Blog Builder. Share your digital pictures online with friends and family using our easy Photo Album tool. If you want more than a blog or photo album, try Site Builder. Don't worry about designing from scratch—all our tools come with plenty of templates that can be customized to your liking.
PROS: If you dream in pixels and want full control of your site's code, try our HTML Editor, or use your own favorite WYSIWYG editor, like MS Frontpage™ or Macromedia Dreamweaver™. Want to move an existing site to Tripod? Find all the details you need in our handy site moving guide.
Once your site is up and running, take it to the next level by adding fun interactive components like a guestbook, customized poll, or feedback form. To access free graphics, tutorials, and site add-ons, visit our Tools page.
To check out your web address and get other membership details, click on My Account from the menu.Here you can view your website details, update your billing information, upgrade your membership, and more. If your Tripod plan includes a domain name, you can view the details here. View Tripod Status to stay current with the latest system updates.
